First off, the design is brilliant, flashlight, area lights, DIMMABLE, bending to fit. All great. I've used it a few times on a few non-automotive jobs, and the light is great, easily switching from flood to flash light. My favorite feature, that most other designers have missed, is remembering the brightness when I switch if off and back on later. I was working on a project that needed drying time, so I'd turn the light down to do the work, and then off when I left. When I returned and turned it back on, it returned to the dimmed level.
Only negative is a pretty trivial one, would be nice if there was a texture difference between the front and read light buttons. I haven't had the knack to consistently hit the right one yet.
This will be great for the next time I'm under the car, the magnets to hold it in place are quite robust.
It is going into the laundry room on the wireless charger, as it it going to be much more useful than just a garage light. (A certain public utility is already threatening blackouts due to their poor maintenance, so it will probably serve some time as room lights again this summer.)
