If you have ever tried to remove the stud cones from a medium/heavy duty rear axle without one of these, I feel your pain.
I've had these pliers for about 15 years, and as far as I'm concerned, they pay for themselves the first time you use them. No more trying to spread the cone with a screwdriver or chisel. Put the wedge in the split, a slight squeeze of the handles, and the cone will slide right off the stud.
These are built to OTC's robust standards and should provide you with many years of use.
I have been looking for these for some time, needed them all the time, great product and make the job of removing axles a lot easier
Great construction very useful.
Arrived when stated, quality is similar to that of snap on
These are helpful and worth owning if you deal with axle cones. It's important tho understand these don't pull the cone from inside the axle flange which is the most difficult part. These pliers help slide the cone off of the stud.
