Made great, have one on all my air tools
I got two of these so I could attach an in-line oiler to one for tools and an in-line dryer and regulator to the other for painting. The rubber feels great but the pivot has started to leak at some angles. Not badly, mind you, but enough for me to drop it down from a 5 star rating.
They are good products.
First, what's pictured is the 1/4" version. The 3/8" version I received is of course thicker, but uses a black hose instead of red. Hose is marked Made in USA. While the flex/swivel doesn't move as far as some cheaper snubber hoses, the orifice inside the flex joint is much larger. This should result in less restriction of airflow. I got it because the manufacturer of my air couplings recommends a snubber hose like this between the coupling and any impact tool. A side benefit is the added flexibility.
This works great, I bought it to compare it to my cheap HF swivel hose, and to use on my oil lubricated line. For anyone that doesn't know, when you have an oil lubricator on your line you don't want the hose to be too long or else the oil collects instead of staying as a mist. 9 feet is generally the longest you want to go from the lubricator.
This hose is 30 inches (compared to my 6 ft HF swivel) so it can easily be connected directly to a tool (impact wrench in my case) without having too much extra hose, and then a quick connect on the other end. In my set up, the other end would connect to a 6 foot hose for a total of 8.5 feet, which isn't too long for the oil lubricator.
Also comparing the swivel inside diameter, it is much larger on the Milton vs the HF.
I recommend using the V style quick connects too.
