Well made, works perfectly.

Sizes are clearly stamped on each leaf. Easy to operate. Every gauge leaf seems to be cut cleanly and matches against the bolt threads perfectly. Great quality for cheap. I like that this is a different color than my other thread gauge - when I want the metric gauge, I grab the chrome yellow one.

Nice to have for cheap

Nice to have for cheap! Im a Designer and tinker and try to fix anything I can and like to build things, and am pretty good at identifying thread series, sizes and pitches by eye just because of my experiences, but for the price... it's worth it to have these around for verification. If it saves me 10 minutes of having to clean up a thread I boogered because I "thought I knew it", its worth it!

Handy to have

I'm not sure about you but I sometimes have a difficult time identifying the threads on a bolt. This thread pitch gauge takes all the guess work out of the equation.

the industry standard for metric thread gauges

after about thirty years, my original set was getting very tired. (With the typical steel ones, one has to fight corrosion, with these that is not a problem.)
Additionally, not a deal-breaker but I was happy to find they are still made as there is a molded recession in the box of my Snap-On metric tap and die set that holds this tool and the new one fits perfectly in its proper place in there.
