and it worked fine, compared to a buddy's MAC impact sockets which ...

I've seen complaints that these are very thick, but let's be honest, they are impact sockets. Used one to install a set of aftermarket wheels the day I got them, and it worked fine, compared to a buddy's MAC impact sockets which were actually too thick.

Good set but half inch universal joint or a 3 inch of extension included

A good set of impact sockets for the price. I use them daily at work and I have had no problems with them at all. The only thing is there was no half inch universal joint or a 3 inch of extension included as described in the product description. which is as fallows. (Grey Pneumatic Corp 1/2'' Drive Standard Length Metric Set is designed to transfer the pressure from the thinnest part of the socket wall toward the thicker section, resulting in increased strength. It includes a half inch universal joint and a 3 inch of extension. This set is made of high quality steel and chrome-molybdenum. It is packaged in a molded storage case and is backed by a lifetime warranty.)
Other than the fact there was no half inch universal joint or a 3 inch of extension included it is still a good impact socket set.

Exactly what I needed

Tough socket set with equally tough case

These sockets have worked just as they should. The are run on an impact which makes 1100ft-lbs without a hiccup. The case was the reason I picked this set. It has a rotating hinge instead of the cheaper bent piece of plastic seen on these cases that eventually crack in half. Good all around set to have in the garage and to take in the car.
